    There appears to be a marked increase in people seeking Web developers for projects on the Webmaster forum. Other than it being a off topic for a forum that is not really meant to be a jobs noticeboard, they do need somewhat different moderation style to control either flaming or badly (or idiotic) requests.

    Might a separate (sub)forum for 'Webdev Projects' be created for this purpose?

    Hmm, I'm thinking the Services Wanted section of Adverts should possibly suffice. Perhaps a sticky in the Webmaster and Programming forums directing people there?
