He said it could happen at a later date :http://icwales.icnetwork.co.uk/0700sports/1000boxing/tm_headline=boxing%2D-taylor-tempted-by-joe%26method=full%26objectid=18884617%26siteid=50082-name_page.html#story_continue

I think it will be Denis Inkin(WBO #1) for the fight in July now as Warren mentioned about getting rid of the WBO mandatory a day or two ago .

Kessler won't be able to fight for 5/6 months apparently due to the back injuries he sufferes .

So it seems Warren is going to have to choose between Taylor and Kessler for an October/November date .

Inkin is a decent fighter btw , not good enough to beat Calzaghe but it will be one of Calzaghe's better defences and probably the best mandatory he has faced .

Inkin has beaten: Mger Mkrtchian-former European champ and Calzaghe victim .
Malik Dziarra-decent German Super/Middleweight , has beaten Lolenga Mock , Mahir Oral .
    Konni Konrad-good solid young fighter
Mario Veit-former WBO interim champion , lost to Calzaghe twice . has beaten Dziarra , Charles Brewer , Kabary Salem , Jurgen Brahmer .
All of them other than Dziarra have beaten Branko Sobot aswell , Sobot was one of Calzaghe's worst defenses(up there with Will McIntyre and Tocker Pudwill) .

Inkin has also beaten Peter Mashamite, a decent South African champ .
Julio Cesar Vasquez who's a former two time WBA Light-Middleweight champ(10 defences) and has wins over Winky Wright ,Javier Castillejo(current WBA Middleweight champ) , Hitoshi Kamiyama , Carl Daniels(former WBA Light-Middleweight champ) and Aaron Davis(was WBA Welterweight champ) .

Would be good to see calzaghe fight taylor in wales, sell out crowd and hopefully it wud be another commanding performance from joe.
He must get pissed at all the love showered on Hatton especially considering ricky went to america to show his stuff and so far not so good but lacy was destroyed by calzaghe.

I wasn't at all impressed with Lacy. The most overrated fighter in the States and the British media went into a frenzy when Joe whupped him and slapeed him to defeat. Lacy was more akin to a body builder than a boxer. Couldn't throw a decent punch most of the fight

Lacy's not a bad fighter , but it was the speed that killed him . He simply was too slow to hit Calzaghe and also neglected his jab completely and went head hunting .

A lot of people were impressed with his destruction of Robin Reid but those that know Reid could see he was shot and a prime Reid may well have taken Lacy . Reid did after all take Calzaghe to a SD which could have gone either way , beat Sven Ottke only to be robbed on the cards and he was also a quality champ(WBC) himself . But that simply wasn't the same fighter that fought Lacy .

Lacy showed he's a quality fighter against Tsypko though , he was totally dominating him and on the verge of stopping him before tearing his rotator cuff(a very serious injury which usually results in fighters quiting) he still managed to hang on for a very narrow win(about 70% of people think he lost) despite the injury . Lacy was destroying Tsypko with his jab and he really looked the part for those two rounds . Lacy would easily beat Berrio(the man that has his old IBF belt) and is up there with the rest in the division(Mundine , Bute , Froch , Inkin) after Calzaghe and Kessler .

Calzaghe has fractured a bone his hand again. I hope it's not Inkin he fights in the Summer as i feel with his dodgy hands time is quickly running out for him to prove once and for all he is the best in the division.
