I have seen shooters fire at the 600m range
and was in awe but frustrated at the time that I could
not see the hits while standing on the range behind them.

The interational event is on in May in Midlands, Its something I would love
to see (Dunno if I can get there around then though)

Only catch is how does one actually enjoy a day watching a competition
like this. Is it spectator friendly ?

Is it a case were you bring your own spotting scope/telescope/binocular
and you follow it. If so and there is a crowd the range could get
pretty crowded with people and equipment and may be distracting
    to the shooters.

It would be great if the event was recorded, where there may be cameras
looking at the targets and a feed back to a monitor where spectators could
watch to keep track of scores and even maybe running commentary.

An event like this if done right could generate postive interest with regards
to the media-joe soap public if done correctly.

Mention it to the organisers it really wounldn't cost that much.

Apart from that all you can do is bring your own or wait till the targets are brought in/announced

That's a great idea and would make it much easier for an audience to appreciate what's going on without having to bring spotting scopes

I'd say suggest it anyway and see what happens
