Problem with IE6 and proxy server

    Hi Guys

Two of our users are using IE6 (sp1) and are having issues. When they try to open a page, it takes an eternity, but after going into tools -> Internet options-> connections -> Lan settings, they can change the proxy server name to it's IP address and it works fine. The next time they go in, it hangs again, until they change the proxy server back to its name, rather than address! Anyone have any idea what could be causing this? I've added both name and IP to the host file. Thanks in advance!

Its a DNS problem, check your settings ipconfig /all
