Crown Preparation

    Hi All,

I'm getting some crowns prepped tomorrow and I have a few questions about the procedure that I can't seem to find online.

Firstly, does the dentist clean my teeth before deciding what colour my crowns should be? What if he doesn't and I decide to get my teeth cleaned at a later date? would that not result in my crowns looking funny?
Secondly, I'm getting a bridge fitted as well and is it normal for dentists to prep the bridge at the same time as the crowns? or will this involve separate appointments?
Thirdly, is there any reason why the crowns can take more than two appointments to complete?
And finally, will my mouth be in bits after the procedure?

    Thanks in advance!!
