Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello all.
I am looking for some information on carers allowance.
I have applied for carers allowance 4 months ago and I got a letter to-day from the social welfare saying they wanted my husbands P-60.

When I first applied all they wanted was a recent payslip.

Anyhows His p-60 for 2006 shows what he has earned for the year.
The p-60 for 2006 is significantly higher than previous years due to more overtime at work.My concern is that my husbands earnings for 2007 are significantly lower due to no overtime. Is there anything I can do in this situation?

Do the social welfare normally look for a spouses p-60 for carers allowance application?

    Any help much appreciated.
    Regards
    Kiely

    Kiely,

I would advise youi to contact Carer's Allowance section in Longford regarding the assessment of means from your spouses earnings.
