Should i register Nuvi 660 straightaway?

Just got a Nuvi 660 today, very impressed with it but just wondering should I register itt straight away or if I wait would I qualify for a free update?

If you've got the latest maps, then there's no harm in waiting..
garmin may eventually look for proof of purchase, but sure if you don't try, you can't win. Next update probably wont be until November/December of this year though.
