Where in Rathmines is there a decent nearby park to have a kickaround? Both parks in Harolds Cross are off limits...is bushy park and kimmage the nearest decent open spaces for a game of footy for 7 or 8 lads?

    Cheers,
    Trilla

Belgrave Square - 2 minutes walk from the Swan Centre.

Palmerston Park - 15/20 mins walk from same place.

Yet another one not within walking distance (don't know any within walking distance) would be UCD, brilliant soccer facilities between 3 synthetic pitches.

Just on a related issue, even though it wouldn't be good for footy, what's happening with Dartmouth Square, anyone know?

The last I heard, he had moved in two caravans.

Also, Kenilworth Square, but you'll need permission (there is a groundsman there most days).

There is a small park on Upper Rathmines Road, that never seems to be used, might be OK for a kick-around.

On Rathmines Road Upper between Maxwell Road and Maxwell Lane / Frankfort Avenue next to the college of education.

    It is quite small though.
