Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Using spare hairdye on eyebrows

Is it safe to dye one's eyebrows using hairdye? (Obviously, making sure that the dye does not go anywhere near the eyes or even the skin around the eye orbit)

Has anyone done it, and can they offer any advice? My eyebrows were shaved and still look really weird, so I'm gonna dye them next time I dye my hair..

Pet, you can buy specific eyelash and eyebrow dye products - like Dylash or anything with a "30 day mascara" brand on it. They last ages and are more suitable for your eyebrows than using hair dye intended for your head. They usually come in brown, dark brown or black. Alternatively go to the beauticians for a tint.

While eyelash dyes do have chemicals that could be harmful if you get it in your eyes, hair dye products have far more things that could be detrimental to your eyes if you get a splash in them.

Pet here's some advice my science eacher gave us about earing eye goggles if we're even lookin at chemicals "skin grows back, eyes don't". I really wouldn't take the risk. As MAJD said you can get DIY kits that wre specifically for brows or you can get it professionally done.

i would not recommend to diy an eyebrow tint. like your eyebrows frame your face and you don't want to get it wrong. i'd pop into a beauty therapist for a quick chat and see what they can do for you. a good one will give you a patch test and see if you have any reactions to their tint. for your own sake, get this done professionally. you will thank yourself. i was considering getting it done myself when i went blonde but i thought what the heck look at all the fake blondes on the telly they all have brown eyebrows.
