More compositions than songs. The metally one is only the body of it, the solo's just a token, will be made... decent with time, and there'll be lots of embellishments and connecting licks and things. The fusion piece is only about half finished, again, just looking for some critique and such.

Some really good ideas there chief. I liked the metal one. Thought the riffs were good. Loved the way the intro one actually fits with the verse riff at the end even though they sound completely different played independantly. Wouldn't have thought of that!!! Liked the second song too.

I'd really need to hear them played on guitar to make any more suggestions though. Keep it up though, your steering clear of all the typical cliched guitar riffs/ideas which is impressive.

Thanks man, that's the sort of thing I was looking for. Things people liked or didn't like about the pieces and such. I'd appreciate anything else anyone has to say. I was particularly proud of that ending alright, nice stroke of inspiration I thought. :) Nice way to finish it. Anyone else got anything to add or anything? I have to record these to submit them as part of a portfolio for my Leaving Cert, so I'll put up the results of that when I'm done, in a few weeks probably, and people can then critique that, but the MIDI's will have to do for now.

Cheers man, yeah, composition elective, not the nicest thing in the world, but it's pushed me a lot, so that's cool.

The jazz is now finished. I'd love if people could critique the finished product now please?
