Catalogue Design

Just wondering would anybody have a rough idea of how much it would cost me to get a catalogue designed, it would be roughly about 20 A4 pages. A friend of mine is going to be designing it for me but I have no idea how much the going rate would be. :confused:

that really depends on the volume of work going into the project,
the amount of work your mate would have to do himself (ie. photos, illustrations etc),
his own costs, maybe additional things like typefaces,
printing & delivery costs.

and of course the quality of the finished work,
because it all comes down to "you get what you pay for".
if you feel that the end product quality justifies the price then you should wear a smile.

saying that, he's your mate and probably wont make a profit on it, just covering costs and his own time & labour.
