Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

Sorry if this has been posted before but I can't search for whatever reason in safari on boards...

I've been using a 6280 for a while now, I like it. Its got the whole cool slidey thing and looks pretty good. Have had a huge number of problems with it though and this is the second replacement - its lasted far longer than the other two so looks good.

I recently came into the possession of an N70 and having used it for a bit seems very slick. I love the fact that it has really good functionality.

So which one should I keep - N70 or 6280? Looks over features? Features over looks? I could feasibly sell the one I don't keep as I have boxes etc. for both. Would have to knock a good bit off the 6280 though because if it stops working after a month someone will kill me!! Or I could carry on using it and 3 will replace it for me if it fails again and I'll be €200/250 richer(n70 is on sale in a shop around the corner for €300 - unlocked...)... Or I could use the n70 and only be 50-100 euro richer...

    Decide for me....

Keep the n70 - sell the 6280 and risk death...

Keep the 6280 - sell the n70 and hopefully not die...

i was in the same situation and i decided to keep the n70. well to be honest i kept both but if i was to decide, i'd keep the n70. fuctionality wins hands down. i've been using the 6280 with my 3 sim for a few days while my n70 is off for repair and its the little things i miss. not being able to minimise programs and copy and paste text being the most important.

and i'm planning to put fring on my n70 when i get it back to make voip calls from my phone

Have been using it to test for a day now and I like it. Am going to use the n70 for a couple of weeks and if there's no trouble I'll be selling the 6280. Thanks for the advice all...

you know that even if you sold the two of them you'd still only be halfway there :D

archytas - is €300 the cheapest you can find it? you can get it for €180 or €120 if you happen to live in england and trust the market

Nope - you can get it in a few places cheaper - but if they're selling it at that price there must be a market for it at that price...
