Sky Sports 2 22:00 tomorrow(Friday) sees a great light-Middleweight match up between British(and commonwealth till he vacated it) champ Jamie Moore and twice WBO title challenger(at Welterweight and Light-Middleweight Sebastien Andreas Lujan of Argentina . This is a genuine 50/50 fight(unlike the **** ITV serve us up) and is destined to be an absolute war . Jamie Moore was involved in both the best British fight of 2005 and 2006 .

In 2005 Moore fought to regain his British and commonwealth titles from Michael Jones , Moore had lost to Jones in their second fight by DQ(was in complete control but hit Jones on the break and Jones couldn't continue) . Jones floored Moore twice and was on the verge of stopping him when Moore held out and then turned the fight around by dropping Jones twice , breaking his nose(one of the worst ive ever seen in a fight) and brutally beating Jones down to win by stoppage in round 6 .

In 2006 Moore fought Matthew Macklin in a match that lived up to all expectations . Macklin boiled down to 154 for this fight , something he hadn't done in 3 years and in truth he couldn't properly make the weight........it was to cost him .

Macklin started off at a furious pace and was on the front foot working the body while Moore fought off the ropes and used better boxing . Macklin fought like a man possessed for 10 rounds but his body simply gave out and Moore landed a beautiful 1-2 to ko the iron chinned Macklin(it was fatigue caused by weight drain that allowed Macklin's resistance to go) , the fight had been 50/50 to that point although I think Moore was winning a SD(and wide on two judges cards while Macklin was slightly up on another) . It was another incredible fight and Moore showed his quality as a smart boxer who can fight to a plan that night aswell as a mad brawler .

I would recommend these fights to anyone who can get their hands on them you won't be disappointed .

Now to Lujan , he's a small stocky Argentinian(no suprise there) who comes forward and throws wide wild hooks to body and head . He's got a good workrate and he will keep coming forward . The key to beating him is to work the body .

I saw Lujan's fight versus WBO welterweight champion Antonio Margarito , Lujan won the first and was competitive for the next 3/4 rounds(winning 1 or 2 of them on the judges cards) but eventually Margarito took over with his massive advantage in size , reach and overall skill . he worked the body well and that started to slow Lujan down dramatically but in the end it was Lujan's ear starting to come off: lujan_ear.jpg that's not a full indication of the damage , it was half severed aswell .

He fought Sergei Dzinzurik the WBO Light-Middleweight champion a year ago and won 3/4 rounds . This mightn't seem great but Dzinzurik is the best Light-Middleweight in the world for me and was given a bit of trouble by Lujan .

So Moore(26-3) v Lujan(26-4-2) , expect an absolute war where both fighters keep coming forward to inflict more and more damage . I wouldn't be suprised to see a fight of the year candidate . The winner will put themselves a fight or two away from a world title shot .

The Undercard sees Chris Edwards(10-12-2) v Dale Robinson(19-3-1) in a fight for the vacant British and Commonwealth titles . Edwards beat Robinson by stoppage in round 8 for the English title 5 months ago and will be looking to repeat the trick . That was a massive shock at the time as Robinson was a huge favourite at the time although even though he's only 27 he appears to be on the slide . This is another 50/50 fight , and could be a good one .

Couple of close match ups on the undercard too although the fighters aren't of great quality it should provide for some good scraps .

I fancy Moore to win by late (rd 11/12) stoppage and Robinson to roll back the years(seems odd saying that for a 27 year old) to regain his commonwealth title and become British champ for the first time with another late stoppage . Should be a good night .
