CAT5 cable

Anyone any ideas where to get a Cat5 cable or ethernet cable.I need about 100 ft or there abouts.I dont think the likes of PC world etc will have lenghts like im looking forward.

Pcworld usually do stock the reels of it, but i dont think its 100m long.

Try www.peats.ie or call into one of their shops in dublin. Failing that i know there was a advert over at www.adverts.ie for 300m worth. Have a look over there.

You can get a 305m box of CAT5e cable in most electrical supply shops for around €80-€90.

Try and get cat6, the cost difference is usually negligible, and it future proofs the cable a bit (the biggest cost is usually laying the cable in the first place).

Cheers lads,i only need 100 feet or so (33 meters).Thats a decent price on komplett for 100 meters.

who was the guy on adverts.ie that made up cables for people. very cheap indeed. based in galway but could post the cables out to you.
