Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

yep, thy're saying lipids alright..or vitamins...our mock was on folic acid...80marks on a mineral that takes up 1/4 of a page in the book.....nearly got sick when i saw it!! :p

hmmm... our pre was on Vitamin C, fruit and veg., bit of a pushover lol... typical Examcraft.

I reckon..... ahhh, so hard to say. Lipids would be the typical choice, or a major vitamin/mineral... Vitamin C, D, Calcium, Iron??... So hard to say. They want the paper to be easier/more accessible due to the very negative response to the last 3 papers since they started the new syllabus, especially 04/05 papers which were dire, 06 was a big improvement and much nicer/easier so let's hope it stays that way...

yeah, i love it too, such a nice interesting subject, if only it wasnt SO long.... I reckon they'l have to have an easier paper anyway, it's gaining a reputation as being a pretty damn tough subject, I mean the A1/A2 rates are very low... compared to say the sciences or business subjects. S&S is just so GOOD though... :D I mean, textiles, mortgages, unemployment, the microwave, trans fatty acids, pastrys, etc... so much variation..

Worst thing about Home Ec... it's on the same day as Irish P2. I pity those in Hons Irish doing this subject!!!!

hahaha, md99 as a home-maker, that'd be funny. I hate home-ec because my teacher is a psycho, other than that no complaints.

Folic acid would be a really tough one to try to answer!!

I went in last year knowing little to nothing about folic acid and the b vitamins and walked away with an A1, I'd actually hate to think what would have happened if any of them came up!

we were always told that they'd never ask us a whole question about such a small topic but then we got asked about yoghurt making and that kinda threw that theory out the window!

Isn't lipids the only macro-nutrient that hasn't been asked yet??
