So this is a bit of a long shot but it's been bothering me for years so I thought why not?
There was a tv show on RTE a good few years ago called 'Love Is The Drug' and the end credits had a different song over them every week. One week there was a song which I'm pretty sure was 'I'll Take You Home Again Kathleen' but there's a million different versions of it and I can't find who it was singing it. It was kind of a faster version than the Elvis one, and it was a guy with quite a gruff kind of voice, almost like Bob Dylan but more melodic. Anyone got the foggiest idea on this? Please and thank you.

anyone know the songs which first 2 lines are "Don't you know I really love you, after all we've been through"

It is an english band, I hear it fairly often on the radio.

Sounds like 'after all' by The Frank and Walters.

Hi guys, this song has been at me for ages now and I can't seem to find it. I think it's an 80's song. The chorus goes (insert lyrics for da's and di's, the woahs are actually right.) ....

Da di da, da di daa di daa daa,.... da di daa da di daa di daaaa,
Whoa, oh oooh, oh oh oh ooohh,.... Who-ooa, oh oh, oh oh oh ooohh, oh ooh

Here's me whistling it, as it'll probably help more.

I keep on hearing this dance tune from a couple of years back. It has a mellow bass line which is the commanding part of the song. The only lyrics is the same person voice synched a bunch of times singing. The beat eases but the bassline still continues on. "Teen poppers" is what I guess the band is saying, the lyrics element it is the same thing almost over and over

I don't know any more than that, sorry. You hear it on 96FM at around half 9 at night, when the host calls people. It is definitely one of the more mainstream dance songs.

Funnily enough it's called Pocket Full of Rainbows, if this is indeed your one.

Anyone know the backing track for the Rose of Tralee ad this year on RTE at the mo? It's a dance-style track and the only words I could hear in it were "Hey hey".

Midnight, thanks but that's not quite the one I'm looking for. I have looked at that vid before after just searching YT for "hey hey" but it's not the right tune. It doesn't have the same beat to it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,716 ✭✭✭Midnight_EG

I didn't search for Hey Hey, it was the only dance song I knew with Hey Hey in it that's out at the moment :P

    :D

Ok thanks anyway. I've searched high and low for the name of the song but no results. If only the stupid RTE voiceover would shut up for 5 seconds I could use the music recognition on my phone. :)

Know this is a long shot but if anyone could help it would be appreciated. There is an ad playing at the moment which i think is for orange juice, its set in america and a radio DJ is speaking, at the end of the ad he says "its gonna be a great day". Trying to find the name of the song playing in the ad. Hope someone can help.
