This has being driving me bonkers for so long, I've actually being trying to find this piece of music for years.
It starts of with a piano with falling chords d# c g would be an idea of how it sounds(obviously wouldn't be the correct notes!) and then violin interludes with long rising and falling chords. It's used in documentaries or RL stories, at poignant moments...

I know this is totally vague, and it sounds like classical music but I'm pretty sure it's a contemporary piece. Thanks!!

Probably the beautiful but horrendously overused "Hoppípolla" by Sigur Rós. Found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4L_DQKCDgeM

Or anything else by them, Jonsí & Alex or Amiina. :)

eta: "Hoppípolla" is Icelandic for "jumping in puddles" by the way, which is far more deserving of dramatic music than charlie bird being a whiny beetch in a boat, IMHO.

There was a Comfort ad on during X Factor tonight with a song being played on a guitar (I think). I have therefore no lyrics to Google and what I think are the right lyrics aren't getting me anywhere. Anybody know the tune? It's like something to do with hands I think. "Put your hands up" or "lay your hands" are what's coming to mind but as I said Google ain't helping. :)

It's a cover of Reefs 'Place your Hands' by the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain!

No, it's not that, but thanks anyway. I better repost in classical because it's pretty much in that genre. My lack of musical knowledge is sick :pac:

It's not Elbow - 'One Day Like This' ? I hear it on a lot of real life things.

For some time now i've been searching for a song.. and i can only remember a few words from it! It was from the early 80's and was always played around this time of year. All i can remember from it were...... ''November, November, preparations, creations......''

I've googled, youtubed, tried various sources (shazam etc) and i can't come up with anything. So if anyone knows it i'd love to find out if it was real or just a figment of my imagination!!! :D

    hey guys,
wondering if you can help me. I was watching 4weddings tonight on living tv and during the 2nd wedding(an African wedding) when the three brides walked into the ceremony room there was a song playing and i cannot for the life of me think of it(i honestly wont be able to sleep its winding me up) i cant remem. artist or dong title and very few lyrics... its a very upbeat song sung by a 'excuse my lack of other word' black female, with clapping at the beginning of it the music at the beginning is like ''do do do, do do do'' played by guitar, its a song you would hear and it would put you in a great mood something you would want to dance to, and then halfway through the song she starts clapping to the sound of the ''do do do'' music that is at the beginning of the song and sings ''la la la'' for a minute or two, please help me im getting so frustrated racking my brain . I Thought it was V V Brown but it aint her.....
