The "What's That Song" Thread [ PLEASE READ ]

Super vague one here but you never know:

I just heard it on the simpsons, its a song played on a synth or a cello and its a pretty low pitch, i dont think there is any singing in the song. The main theme of the song is like a mood setter, like a sinister mood. It almost sounds like a classical piece like hall of the mountain king, the same kind of mood as that.

If you happen to play the guitar use the low E string and play the notes

3-6-3-6---3-6-3-3---3-6-3-6---3-6-3-2

You might not even get it if you play that because timing is major but sure ya never know!

I just recognised it from the simpsons because ive heard it before in some movie! driving me crazy!!!

Homer and marge were trying to get away from the kids for a night and bart and lisa kept chasing them, then the animation went kind of old skool, lego type animation and the music started!

I watched every fricking RTE ad for the last couple of days trying to find this fricking song. Every time I barely caught it or it wasn't on. Ridiculous. Anyway, in an intermission during "RAT" which is currently on, I got enough lyrics to find it. Here ya go Buddy.

I heard an intro on a movie (No strings attached). But it tails off to a brass solo, so no idea if its a real song or just part of the movie or whatever, but I sort of recognise it so thought I'd throw it out there.

ok it was in misfits , i think one of the lyrics sounds like "get the horror in ya" but i think it might be aurora. I dont know but i need the name been bugging me for hours

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I don't want to start a new thread for it.

I am looking for the video of Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan performing "Girl from the North Country" on the Johnny Cash show, probably in 1969.

I have tried youtube, but the stupid amount of covers they have means that finding it is impossible.

I would love to find it for streaming if possible, hope someone can help! Thanks.
