    :D I give up so.
I never noticed how many dance videos had cases and train stations in them, seems to be a recurring theme.

hey guys, lookin for a dance song, its from in and around the time Sash! and ATB were in full swing. i think the video was set in a futuristic train station, and involved someone running with a briefcase, and the setting was very silver/white. it is however, NOT this song

its killin me! i'm listenin to all the classics from back in this time, Sash!'s Ecudor and ATB's 9pm, all choons, but this one song is evading me! any help would be greatly appreciated

Its probably not this but the video is very white and futuristic.....:)

I heard a song playing over the credits of xpose during the week, I'd never heard it before and tried googling the lyrics but no result. Its song by a female and some of the lyrics I picked up are 'she's skin and bone, tryin' not to let it show, don't want the family to know,CHORUS- put your best foot forward (repeated a few times..)
    Any ideas what this is????
    Thanks

there was one part were Sean Connery was pretending to drive a car in front of a background of the Eiffel tower.

    Thanks.

What's the song in the new Bud add?

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,598 ✭✭✭✭bodhrandude

Damn 2FM Dee Jays, I wish they would just do their job sometimes and inform their general listeners what music they are actually listening too. This is twice now in the same cafe that 2FM have played this track with no ID at the end. Someone put me out of my misery, who is this band? I cannot remember the lyrics but the chorus goes. "Woah -oho- oho - oo and the chorus melody hook is similar to Becks track Why Dont You, Maybe. In fact its a bit Beckish but more poppier with female vocals too.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

Hmm. Both Sandstorm and 9pm till I come have a suitcase theme in the video. I'd go for Sandstorm.

I've been trying to help a guy on another forum to find out what this song is to no avail and now it's starting to bug me. All we know is that it seems to be from the early to mid-90's and it's an American indie-rock band. I've tried Googling whatever song lyrics I can make out and he tried using Shazaam but got no results. If there's any older members here with a good memory of the 90's it would be great if you could help me out.

I don't know if you have found out the name of this song by now but if you haven't the name of the song is "Not Rocket Science" by the Australian band Pollen. I couldn't find it on YouTube but its on iTunes

    Hi,

So I heard a song on 2fm just before 11pm last night, and after much searching of their website I'm still unable to find out who sings it or what the name is. It was played as a time filler in between a podcast and the news hour.

It an upbeat pop/indie rock song, similar sound to The Strokes.

Here are some of the lyrics (which I've googled in different combinations, but still can't find it):

"Don't you know, that I'd do anything to impress, that's why I compliment you on your sense of dress, the way you always look so fine"

"As we roll down the street, stumbling cheek to cheek, the boys say she's fine"

"Not now I've tried so hard,
Not now I've come so far,
My house is only 20 yards up the street,
We _________ if you just shuffle your feet"

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Song from a few years ago. There was a white guy with a beard and long hair with a ghetto blaster - the music drives people wild. He is in some country like Jamaica. At the end of the music video he is in jail with a shaved head.

Mitch Hedberg: "Rice is great if you're really hungry and want to eat two thousand of something."

Fat Boy Slim - Push the Tempo

Thats the one. I think the title is

I just discovered that the song title is actually 'Ya Mama'. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Song_for_Shelter_/_Ya_Mama

'Push the Tempo' makes more sense.

Mitch Hedberg: "Rice is great if you're really hungry and want to eat two thousand of something."
