Trying to remember a song by a male (possibly Irish) singer, deep voice, piano. No idea what the lyrics are but quite gloomy. Sounds a bit like Run by Snow Patrol or People Help the People by Cherry Ghost. It was out about 7 or 8 years ago. Thanks a mil

I heard a song on spin 1038 (of all places) about 45 minutes ago. At the time I had no access to Shazam, but I remembered two lines of lyrics to google, got home and googled them, and nothing. Nada.

It was quite a long track for pop I think, about 4 minutes. It sounded like it could have been "Fun" (the band) in terms of the vocals, but it was hard to tell. The two lines of lyrics I have are

"procession of the lost and lonely" which I remembered because it was repeated, so I thought it might be the title"

and

"we'll dance that same old war dance" also repeated a fair bit.

Found it - I should have tried harder before posting. Sorry.

I actually looked on the spin website for that, but it was after I got home. I am fairly sure it wasn't there. Could be wrong. I went through like 4 YouTube songs before finding it. Glad I did though.

Hey folks,

There's a song played near the start of this episode of operation transformation, right after The Dandy Warhols part finishes and just before the part with young lad. Its only for for like 10 seconds or something and its wrecking my head! I know its like The Coral or The Zutons or someone! Can someone help me out!
