ray d'arcy played a song this morning at about 11:10

lyrics seems to repeat "you already know"

it was pretty melancholy (but good). when i google those lyrics all i get is a rap song which it isn't. please help!

I'd say it's probably this thread's current favourite, Devotchka's How It Ends. :D

    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help me with this song I recorded on my cellphone. It seems kind of football anthem, as I heard it in some football world cup documentary in part about Irish national team clashing Italy in quarterfinal, I suppose.

    Here is the link:

    http://www.wikiupload.com/download_page.php?id=95651

and then download file on the right...
Please,it's bugging me, for like 2,5 years  Any help about song name and the performer is more then welcome.

    Cheers

Hi, this is kind of a long shot, but does anybody the know the name of the song that was used in the ad for last week's episode of Grey's Anatomy. No lyrics I'm afraid it was sort of like a chant. It's been driving me crazy, thanks to anyone who can help :)

Would some of the obsessive (:D) grey's anatomy websites not be able to tell you. They would have all that info of that nature in, including all continuity errors etc.

I thought of that, but it was an ad on RTE so I doubt they'd have that info. If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it

One if the "Guinness 250" ads is driving me nuts...

The camera travels through a surrealistic world, into a building to a black and gold TV time-machine thingy...

The music sounds like a big number from "South Pacific" but, in fact, it's the intro to a well known song - but I cannot remember that song however hard I try...

    Any ideas?

Heard this song the other day and it's driving me nuts, all I can find is the lyrics and nothing about singer/writer. Please help.
    Here's the lyrics in full.

    I didn't know, I didn't feel
    The presence of your love
    So close you were
    But yet so far
What it was I was thinkin of

    Chorus
    I was a damn fool
    I could've been your lover
You were right before my eyes
But I was too blind to see

    Damn fool
    almost lost you forever
    I should've seen the signs
You were destined to be mine

    Oh baby
    You would've been mine
I wasted all that precious time (ooh baby)
All these years they just went by
    Ohh they've just changed

If only someone told me this
A broken heart would heel again
    I saved myself the pain

    Chorus x 2
    I was a damn fool
    I could've been your lover
You were right before my eyes
But I was too blind to see

    Damn fool
    almost lost you forever
    I should've seen the signs
You were destined to be mine

    ooh, oh baby
    I was a damn fool
    I could've been your lover
You were right before my eyes
But I was too blind to see

    Damn fool
    almost lost you forever
    I should've seen the signs
You were destined to be mine

Oh baby I was such a fool
I never knew, I never knew
    You woould be without me
    Not in my wildest dreams
    Never been sure
    It would've been so good
    It could've been so good

    Chorus-fade
    I was a damn fool
    I could've been your lover
You were right before my eyes
But I was too blind to see

    Damn fool
    I almost lost you forever
    I should've seen the signs
You were destined to be mine

I only really know them for that one too, to be honest, because it's great. :D

I'm told they're fantastic, but that their other stuff sounds a lot different. I keep meaning to go and hear more though.

anyone know the backing track Larry Gogan used on his show today.. I'm guessing he's using it for the last few weeks too.. its a song most people would be familiar with a repetitive beat..

Haris83, that audio clip is fairly bad, can't hear it properly. Sounds like there's lyrics in it, would you not google them if you have a good audio clip of it?

    What is this song?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnwOsjmwB88

It's from BBC Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles' old afternoon show. it's the opener theme for his show. It's only a short clip sorry.

I know the company www.music4.com make his jingles and beds nowadays but they didn't then.

If you know, please let me know.

    Cheers

    Steve.

    -mcguire-,

unfortunately recording quality is poor, recorded on a cellphone, and by the way, lyrics seem to be in Irish language (I'm pretty sure), therefore I cannot google them :( (I'm not Irish :() But the tune is pretty catchy, and it's driving me nuts for approximately 2 and half years, trying to figure it out. Please mate, if any clue comes onto you, or anybody else, post it, I would be grateful 4 life.

    Cheers

Dr Hook and the Medicine Show: "The Millionaire" :D

    http://www.lyricstime.com/dr-hook-the-millionaire-lyrics.html

Nobody got any ideas on that Guiness 250 Ad with the daliesque tower yet?

I think it MIGHT be the intro to a really big orchestral arrangement of "Ferry Cross the Mersey" but, if it is, I cannot find it...

anyone know the tune played in the background on Newstalk's Claire Byrne and Ger Gilroy's morning show?

    Thanks

I can't seem to get a tune out of my head, only problem is that I don't know the name of the song, or even where I heard it! I've only got a couple of lyrics. They both occur in the chorus, I think, and it's a woman singing them. They go something like this:

"Why don't you put your hand in my hand?"

    and

"Why do you take life seriously?"

It was a very upbeat country tune, if that helps.

Any help here is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance all!!!

Anyone know who sings that song, it's got lots of brass sounds Brazillian or Cuban, in the chorus a man sings...Hello...Hello ... but it's more like...hhkello hhkello.

Not good at explaining things, sorry.

Heard a song the other week on the Ray D'arcy show

    Female vocalist

    Vaguely Gwen Stefani-ish

Pop song , sounds a little like that Aleesha Dixon song

But the hook was something like "It would be , exactly how I wanted it to be"

Anyone recognise that tune in the CSI ad currently running on RTE2?
    Sounds kinda ambient/DJ Shadowish..

I was just coming on here to ask the same thing, and I know I've heard it before, but can't for the life of me think of the title.
