Anyone think a lot of this decision may have been to have the Bangladeshis stewing in the heat before their turn to bat, while the Irish were in the shade before fielding and our bats men were up during the cooler morning innngs.

That was always going to be the case. Bangladesh can be hot. Bowl and field well. Some teams cant defend a total, but Ireland do well.

That run rate will start climbing sharply now of they only score at 3 an over. If Ireland keep them at 3 an over... If Bangladesh decide to put their foot on their gas, the Irish could sucker them into mistakes... 2 mistakes by the batsmen, match over.
