pub closing times

anyone able to help me,im looking for somewhere on the we b that states official pub and n/clunb closing times for ireland cant seem to find anything anywhere ? thanks in advance

It depends on the place.
Pubs without a late licence:
Monday- Thursday 11:30pm
Friday, Saturday 12:30am
Sundays 11pm

On Bank holidays, Sunday becomes a Saturday and pubs serve until 12:30.

Pubs with a late licence serve til 2:30 for which ever nights they have the licence for i.e: Thurs, Fri, Sat.

Very few pubs in Dublin have late licence on Sundays, I believe there are only 3 or 4.

Nope, that ain't the case. Sunday closing is 11pm all year round, unless, as previously stated, it's before a bank holiday.

Its 12:30 closing on the eve of a bank holiday..... i.e. on a bank holiday Monday, the pubs close at 12:30 on the Sunday night. Its 11:00 every other Sunday night.

Generally. Also it depends on where in the country you are, if there's an occassion/festival on locally then there may be late extensions granted to pubs e.g. here in Galway they do it for the Races and recently for the Volvo Ocean Race.

Specifically, the standard closing time the on the Sunday of a bank holiday weekend???

Jesus Christ, we're had the same opening hours for years now, and people are still perplexed by them, my brother still can't get his head around it either

The latest you can POSSIBLY open is 0230
Pubs close at 23 on Sundays, 2330 during the week, and 0030 on Fridays and Saturdays, Sin E!!!!

Pubs are supposed to close at 23 on Sundays, 2330 during the week, and 0030 on Fridays and Saturdays, Sin E (Kinda)

I was asking specifically about Bank Holiday Sundays.

Quick question how does Copper Faced Jacks manage to stay open so late so if the latest closing time is 2.30? they seem to be able to stay open a lot longer.
