if you want surround sound in 5.1 use speakers. I have tried 5.1 headphones before. I hated them. The sound dosent come from the right directions.

Medusa 5.1 are excellent, the only snag is that they can be very sensitive to some cordless phones giving a constant loud background buzz, took me weeks to figure out and was on the verge of sending them back. Now cordless phone and wireless router are all in seperate wall sockets to my medusa amp and the world is a buzz free place again. So go for the medusa if your area is relatively wireless free. BTW the do actually work!

Just to let you know that there are two different packs, one with the amp and one without the amp. The one on Komplett I dont think comes with the amp.

Yep the premium bundle of the madusa has its own amp, and that is the reason that it is one of the best headsets around.

Lol yeah. I dont want to bum you out too much but the Medusa's without the amp are supposed to be not nearly as good as the ones with the amp.

    Don't worry about that!

Got a set recently and they are very comfortable and have good sound quality.

The Mic is top notch also.

And they came wraped in a red bow inside a well padded carry case for LAN transport, what more could you ask for?:D
