Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone can help. I have a Noka 6230 which has been unlocked and want to pass it on to someone else. I was on Vodafone and as far as I am aware the phone has been unlocked already. Im trying to use a Meteor Sim now and its asking me for a security code, and Ive tried 54321 and 12345. Any other ideas what it could be or a way of resetting the code.

    Any help would be great!

If it is looking for a code after you change SIM it probably needs to be unlocked, default security code for should be 12345

Hey thanks for the quick reply.

I tried the unlocking codes you gave me yesterday but it was saying Code Error, so i presumed it had been unlocked already.. I tried putting the other SIM in on Friday. Let me put in the pin and then was looking for the Security code after. Tried 12345 and 54321 but no luck.

Ill try it again later with the Meteor Sim and she if I can get it working

    Thanks again

don't do that. you can only enter an incorrect unlock code three to five times before its hard locked, ie it can never be unlocked by a code. if the code you got in the unlocking thread didn't work it either means you gave the wrong imei, model or network or its already hard locked

is it definitely asking for a security code, because that's different to an unlocking code

    Try 0000 or 00000. Alternatively try http://mastercode.nokiafree.org/
