    Hmm it's hard to say.

I'm in third radiography and even though class sizes are bigger now (the first class of 40 odd are graduating this year) you have good job prospects if you stick with radiography. Out of last years graduating class of physio only about half of them got jobs (dajaffa will be able to tell you more).

It's pretty easy to get postgrads in Radiography too if you want to go on and specialise.

Where radiography does have it's drawbacks is the whole lack of autonomy. You are totally reliant of the decisions of doctors and radiologists (though in Ultrasound this isn't quite so much an issue) in terms of reporting and bringing you patients. In some ways when you finish in UCD you're over qualified - we know how to read radiographs, we know how to do a lot of the stuff radiologists do but we're not allowed to. Hopefully this will change with time but at the moment we're about a decade behind the U.K.

As for physio well Dajaffa should be able to help you out there.

Prospects wise at the moment there aren't a lot of jobs in Ireland at the moment, but I'm sure the situation will improve. I suppose one of the main differences between it and Radiography is the amount of patient contact time. You can get to know patients well and get a great deal of satisfaction out of progress patients make.

Eh if you've any questions ask, can't think of what else to write!
