    Hey

    Could some one help me?

    My girlfriend is doing some college work and needs a little help. She needs to know the difference between socialism and communism and fabinism........

    Any help would be appreciated, links etc..

    I don't think this is really the place to help with someone's (your) homework.

    Maybe if you had pretended to be just personally curious...

    There are plenty of online resources. Your 'girlfriend' could learn a lot by Googling the words, or using 'her' university library.

    Well tbh it's not the responce I would expect, especially from a mod. If you can't help that's fine there's not need to get smart about it. Grow up.

    Ha. Why doesn't your 'girlfriend' grow up and do some of her own research? It can't be that hard. Geez. I didn't have internet people helping me in college.

    It’s all about cows.

    Fabianism: You have two cows. Your neighbour has none. The government makes you feel guilty for being successful. You vote people into office that put a tax on your cows, forcing you to sell one to raise money to pay the tax. The people you voted for then take the tax money, buy a cow and give it to your neighbour. You feel righteous but you worry about next year’s tax bill.

    Socialism: You have two cows. Your neighbour has none. The government takes one and gives it to your neighbour. They form a cooperative to tell him how to manage his cow. You feel strangely cheated.

    Communism: You have two cows. You are shot for being a counter-revolutionary. The government seizes both cows and provides your neighbours with milk. They wait in line for hours to get it. It is expensive and sour. Coincidentally, the party leaders enjoy regular t-bone steaks.
