Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

And Rovers, rightly, say it's a disgrace.
I didn't realise that Davis have already got €600,000 in recent years, according to Conor Lenihan.

Looks like South Dublin County Council are playing hardball with other GAA clubs as a result of Thomas Davis messing around. They are withholding long leases on public parks for St Marks in Tallaght and Lucan Sarsfields citing Thomas Davis's judicial review as a reason for not going ahead. What this means is that Lucan will lose about €250,000 in lottery money which has to be drawn down in the next 8 weeks or so. But the council say that they can't go ahead until Thomas Davis judicial review happens.

St Marks are in a similar position, they want to develop another training pitch, but it's council land! Apparently they have withdrawn support for Thomas Davis stand as a result.

File that one under unexpected consequences!

No link but it was in todays Oirish Daily Mail. I'm sure it'll be in other papers sometime soon.

Edit: It looks like it was also in the Sun according to this thread on the GAA forum. See from post 53 on. http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055036112&page=3

Good stuff. Nice to see it getting through to them that, actually, they can't do whatever they like.
