Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There was a conference call today in which Dana White confirmed that there would be a show on HBO by the summer. Interestingly, he has also agreed to give over production control to HBO.

    Other news:
-UFC 72 in July will feature Marquart versus Silva, Sherk versus Franca and Ortiz versus Rachad Evans.

-If Cro Cop beats Gonzaga he will face Couture in August with Arlovski then waiting in the wings. GSP is also expected be on the card.

    - In relation to Pride, he expects to sign tv deals for the company for both the US and and Japan.

-He also said Saturday's show in Manchester is now an official sellout, although after the octagon and screens are moved in later this week, there will be some added tickets put on sale.

After listening to the whole thing, the guy has alot on his plate!

Some good news. A US tv deal for Pride would be interesting. Just one thing to add:
-UFC 72 in July will feature Marquart versus Silva, Sherk versus Franca and Ortiz versus Rachad Evans.

That's now UFC 73, which got me confused last week. UFC 72 will be in June in Belfast

Yep, your right. Other notes from the Dana and Cro-Cop conference were as follows (from MMA weekly):

-Mirko CroCop will be returning to the special police after he's done in Parliment. That is expected around November.

    - Mirko feels he has no space to move down the Light Heavyweight division. He said he would like to fight Chuck Liddell, but would prefer Liddell moving up to Heavyweight, as opposed to him moving down to 205 lbs.

-PRIDE will follow the unified rules, weight-classes and rounds. Pretty much adopting UFC's style.

-Dana doesn't really have anything official on Fedor yet. His contract with PRIDE is not an exclusive deal and Zuffa does not deal with non-exclusive contracts with fighters. Fedor is not a free agent though and they will be working hard to keep him.

-Dana White is still pissed at Tito Ortiz. He sprinkled several insults and choice words throughout the call about him.

-ESPN will be covering the weigh-ins regularly from now on, and he expects live fight shows to air on that network at some point in the future as well.
