Can anyone please tell me whats the story with this open day cos cos at the last one I missed the course that I actually want to do (in my infinite wisdom) but anyway I was looking on the site and it says something about registering and loads of other stuff and they only have a course for each faculty not each actual course

    Can anyone offer some enlightenment???

I'm not sure about the whole course and faculty arrangement thing, but I'd say there'll be lecturers and students around who you could ask about the course that you wanted to do. I didn't go to a few I wanted to either... For some crap reason you do have to register to be allowed to go. Just to do with keeping tabs on how many people will be around to do all the specific events, I suppose....
In my school you also have to get written permission from your parents and the principal to be allowed miss school....for an open day like

Anywho, if you have more questions, email n.deady@ucc.ie. Might be helpful

you dont have to register to go, they just ask people to register online so that they will have an idea of how many people will be there on the day, there wont be anyone standing at the gates of ucc checking peoples names from a list, just wouldnt be possible
