Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    If I go to gamestop to trade games for credit, do I have to but a new game at the same time or can I get a credit note to buy one later?

    Thanks, good to know – there's nothing I want right now for the 360, but plenty of stuff later this year (Mass Effect, Halo3, Bio-Shock)

    I would also recommend going to Xtra-Vision. They offer the best trade in deals. The only problem is that they don't offer credit notes, well last time I dealt with them they didn't.

    I got 50c ages ago for a game in xtra vision, well didn't take it was just offered it, can't remember what game, it was on the ps2. This was before they were offering competitive prices on game trades.

    Ya i likes the look of that, you should post it in the bargain alerts forum, people there are very good at sniffing out the terms and conditions.

    Haven't been too impressed with GameStop trade in prices recently. They seem to have lowered them. I rang up with a request for a price for Guitar Hero 2 on the 360 (with the guitar), which they sell for 110 (so a resell price of around 100). I was offered 38. Not cash. Store Credit. Cash would have been around 30euro I suppose. I laughed and asked was she looking up the right one, and she said she was? I politely declined.
