Water harvesting

Going to build a absloutly massive tank under my garage for collecting rain water, did enginerring in collage so can't wait to start trying to plumb it in, and figure out how to wire and pipe it

anyway is there any independant websites to read about water harvesting, all i can find are adds, i am interested in how to filter the incomming water

i'm not going to be drinking the water so

think i'll just install one of these in the tank http://www.rainwaterharvesting.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=3P_1000585

have all the south facing roofs running into it

put tv aerial on a pole in the back yard (less bird poo)

put wire mesh on the gutters plumbed into the tank

and leave the rest to the plumber, will tell him to feed the well to the kitchen and the bath room sinks
