Very bad idea for any type of wooden flooring, be it laminate/hardwood. Bacteria will multiply in wood - not nice if you have kids! No right minded plumber would allow this to be done. People who have had this done will tell you that its great, but wait until five years down the road when they are wondering why they have to rip up the wood flooring.

People are even reconsidering getting underfloor heating in bathrooms now as bacteria trives on the wet warm conditions. Most plumbers wont install, and those that are pushed by the customer or do it anyway charge a good bit for it!

In a nutshell... this is a very bad idea.
