I had an MP3 somewhere of Love Will Tear Us Apart being sung in that style. It was always the nuclear option to wheel out for one of those insipid Best/Worst/Most Cloying Cover threads that make up 17% of all music boards posts.

I love throat singing but wasn't too hot on that. I remember seeing some buskers in Paris from Malaysia who were amazing. I wanted to buy their CD but none of them would stop playing to sell it to me!
