Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just found this excellent documentary explaining the history of the Amen break, which has been called the most important drum sample of all time.

    Enjoy.

That guy also has a documentary on the 303 as well. Not as good but worth the watch.

    Mmmm, 303.

Also, Mmmm, Squarepusher. After watching that documentary I've realised that almost all the percussion stuff on his Burning'n Tree album is made up of Amen break which has been sliced and diced to an incredible degree. Kudos.
