Recent Problems with Incomplete NTL downloads ??

    Hi gang

    Im on NTLs 6mb package and i know there have been many problems reported here but Im just wondering if anyone else is having the same trouble as me..

    When i download a file through FTP, a web-page or even newsgroup headers it never completes. It will freeze at different times during the DL maybe 50% of the time.

    Size isnt an issue as it can happen with a small 2 - 5 meg file just as easily as a larger movie clip or game demo 100+megs...

    One site that really gets hit is the Apple movie trailers site at...

    (Been using this for many years and never had trouble until last month, now i cant get a single clip to complete.)

    Its only happening for the past 3 weeks aprox and i cant seem to figure it out at my end......

    Any ideas..

    No problem here and I do most of my downloading from newsgroups. Sounds like your connection is dropping. Are you sure it's not a problem with your browser? Try using a download manager, might make resuming the download easier.
