Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well, Cork City have been ridden once again. Dodgy a f**K spotter in injury to to deny us 3 points.

There is obviously a directive after being sent to all. Last week a legit goal which was over the line ruled play on, then this. Sick and tired of it.

Couldn't make the City match as I was too late home from work. Headed to Tolka for Rovers match.

Drogheda probably deserved the win as they tried to play some football. they didnt really succeed as the pitch was a disgrace. Shels must have sacked their groundsman in the scourge as this was as bad as Ive seen in a while. And Ive been to the RSC!

Arthur Matthews of Father Ted was sitting behind me in the stand. Is he a Rovers fan or just a soccer fan.

Drogheda after all their injuries still looked very strong.

Drogheda filing a complaint vs an un-named Rovers player who abused Simon Webb over his wife who died of cancer

Longford are roaring up the table now! Watch out Derry ;)

Great goal from Mooney, should have had another one soon after. Doyle was sent of for what I assume is dissent over a nothing tackle in which the Waterford player glided as gracefully as a Ballerina.

The ref still managed to play nearly 5 mins injury time despite there only being 3. A nervous ending! But will be happy with the three points.

Webb himself, and Doolin were furious after the game. It's the kind of thing you expect from the Rovers fans, but for a player to be up to it as well is shocking.

Only 4 ...how in gods name was it only 4 :D

Sligo really shouldnt have turned up, 1st 15 minutes they *had* the ball then we got it and peno came after a clumsy tackle on MOTM Mulcahy playing behind the front 2 in a maruading type free role. Once the peno went sligo tried but we just kept pushing them on culminating in the 2nd goal which was a peach of a cross my Murphy onto Quigleys head super goal right on half time.

2nd half we destroyed them and got 3 in 15 minutes how it was only 3 i dont know, Mulcahy Fahey both had one on ones, An overhead kick narrowly went over, maguire headed just over and just wide and in between all the misses we got an OG and a mulcahy one on one after he ran *tru* the defense quite literally tru the defense.

That 15 minutes sligo fell into thw worse team we ever played group, they were muck and we destroyed them.

Ryan had nothing to do saved a free kick late in the game.
Brennan brought the ball out well
    Maguire immense as always.
Paisley played well until he saw his twin was the linesman :D
Fahey just shaded for MOTM by Mulcahy, but fahey was excellent.
Murphy started off a bit slow but came into it around the time we destroyed them.
Foley played well but looked unfit.
Kirby played an hour and done very well
Oneill held the ball up well, dont think he had a shot other then the peno.
Quigley constantly a thread took his goal well.

Lynch get a hair cut man, dead game when he came on
O Connor played right and left side game was dead by time he came on tho
Frost also came but it was game over by then.

Excellent win, kids 1st away game went well ... top of the league, flashing in the pan rocks!!! happy days :D

21 Apr 2007.On behalf of the club's membership and the entire Shamrock Rovers community, we wish to issue a public apology to Simon Webb for the heartless and highly personal verbal abuse he was subjected to from a tiny minority of the attendance at the Shamrock Rovers-Drogheda United game at Tolka Park on April 20. Those responsible should be ashamed of themselves and are certainly not welcome at Shamrock Rovers. An investigation into the incident has begun and those responsible will be dealt with in an appropriate manner.

Thats pure scum, allegedley there is a player involved too but thats hearsay.

Amazing Rovers get themselves some good PR for a change and the usual small minority ruin it.

Rovers fans with cop on should police themselves and make known that those kind of comments are not on.

Rovers run by fans as we are told so many times, "those responsible will be dealt with in an appropriate manner" guess they be made directors or something.

Last year a director of Shamrock Rovers Football Club was convicted in court of causing trouble at an away game in Limerick. Shamrock Rovers Football Club refused to accept his resignation.

Enough said about their real attitude to sorting out their scum element.

I'm sure Thomas Davis are lapping it up.

Crap match in Cobh last night. Very little created by either side.

I did think Sligo would struggle this season, but Pat's looked good there. I know the highlights video is always going to be one-sided, but they look good all the same.
