Flag Football Tournament

    The Willow Warriors will be hosting the first tournament of the West Divison Flag Football league on Saturday the 5th of May on the grounds of Tipperary Institute college in Clonmel at 2:30pm.

    It will be held between the 5 teams from the divison:

    The Willow Warriors, Galway SeaDevils, RoscreaFalcons,Edenderry Soldiers and The SE Stronbows.

    The Willow Warriors will be holding tryouts within the next 2 weeks so if anyone is interested in playing non contact American football please PM me.

    Anyone else thats interested, is free to come along and observe.

    Might be an idea to repeat this on the www.iafs.co.uk site as it receives a lot of traffic from people interested in Flag/American Football.

    Willow Warriors 14 Strongbows 20

    Tight game one length of the field pass by us, 1 length of the field runn by Warriors.

    Strongbows 32 Edenderry 0

    Defence stepped up with 3 int returns for TD.

    Edenderry 26 Warriors 14

    Closer than final score as Edenderry scored their last on last play. Great game
