Cork road trucks?

What was going off on the Cork road this afternoon about 4pm-ish, I was beside the new Lidl and it sounded like a lot of big trucks all sounding their horns - seemed to be coming from the Cork road area, near Morris's. Did any one see what was happening?

It was a chernobyl aid convoy passing through waterford,a lot of local bikers came out to give it an escort through the town.
