Eircom pings?

    Playing CS:S and just wonmdering if anyone else is having problems witht there pings?? I am witj Eircom bases in dublin

    When i ping jolt.co.uk

    When i ping the IOA server i get

    same for all the servers in my list.

    Doesnt make sense the way jolt.co.uk is ok though

    Anyone else having these problems??

    You cannot ping like that (i.e. include the port number on the end) - you are just getting your openDNS servers default "I cant find that webpage" webserver which is why the results are all the same.

    The ping tool doesnt recognise it as an IP address, thinks its a domain name - looks it up on your openDNS server which points you to an OpenDNS webserver (youll notice its the same ip address in the results section each time.

    Try pinging them without the port tacked on the end - i.e. just the IP address.
