Evra was a disaster there and VdS wasn't much better.

Gonna be tough now - they look like they can't contain Kaka.

Has Rooney gone to anger management recently? Seriously. Against Roma he was getting some strange decisions against him but he didn't moan. He hardly touched Gattuso and gets a free against and he just politely told the ref he disagreed. Changed man.

Kaka likely to get a hattrick in this form.

Why are they letting Milan play? At Celtic Park Celtic had 56% possession and Man Utd are a much better team than Celtic.

They always seem to concede a howler of a goal at this stage of the tournament.
Cant concede soft goals and hope to progress.

Its the Kaka show. He made a show out of the United defence for the 2nd goal. United are still in the game though Milan clearly have the classier players. United need to throw the kitchen sink at Milan in the 2nd half, and try to get back in the tie. Didnt expect so many goals tbh, dodgy defending on both sides! Should be an interesting 2nd half.

Yeh, he was too much away from his near post. But all the same a fantastic shot - Rooney wasn't even looking at the goal as he was shooting!

Fantastic match. Scholes's assist for Rooney's first goal was the 2nd best assist I've ever seen.

edit: If Gilardino gets any higher than a 2 or 3 in the newspaper ratings it'll be the most outrageous display of their inability to award anything outside 4 - 9 yet. How much more anonymous can a player be? What did he register, 3 dives?

Milan were abysmal second half, you'd expect utd to come back at you from a deficit, but the capitulation after gattuso left the pitch was a nightmare. All they had to do was throw the ball in the box and the idiotic milan player lost possession from their own throw in!!!

What a game, disappointing to concede 2 goals at home, but what a finish by Ronney 3-2. What a performance by fletcher tonight :eek: . I expect us to score over there 1/2 goals. AC i think held off towards the end happy with 2-2. Paul Scholes is going to be a big miss in the second leg. The Ref i thought was brutal, he booked 2 manu players for getting the ball?

I expect Vidic, Ferdinand and Neville to be back for the second leg, ferdinand might be pushing it, but 90min from the final, i think SAF might take a risk

Goes to show you can have Milan anytime in the second half. Brocchi non existant, seedorf losing possession all the time, kaka and pirlo were gone too. Fair play to utd tho.
