Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Right, after weeks of deliberating over building a HTPC, what to put on it, how I can use my existing machine, etc. I've had an epiphany: My PC (with all my media on it), although in a different room, is actually only about 9 metres away from my TV... :) Since I only want to "consume" on the TV and not record anything, I figure just extending my cables is the answer...

    So, does anyone know where I can get a long TOS-link cable and a long s-Video cable? I'm in Dublin, so a bricks 'n' mortar place would be great, but failing that I don't mind shopping online.

    Maplins or Peats might have the cables local if not then online try Lindy which I have used and have reasonable prices Toslink & s-video cables up to 20m are available.
