ATI Radeon 2600XT First shots

Looking good, with nice specs, how much wattage do the Geforce 8800s and 8600s use? This says it uses 80 with now power cable required. :)

The 8600 doesn't have extra power but the 8600GTS does as its still within spec for the power the PCI-e port delivers but near the limit so to play it safe NV stuck an extra power connector on it. Supposedly the 2600 series use even less power.

It looks decent enough though rumours are suggesting it's really no better than the 8600 series but if it is cheaper in price that will be a strong selling point.
