You'll have only the free channels (About 45) and no worthwhile EPG.

No idea on quality. Certainly not expensive, though standard disk is only 80GByte. Komplett now the minimum they sell is 250Gbyte. It seems to suggest you can upgrade. Single tuner is odd for sat PVR.

If you buy one, give us an intial review and then a update 1 month later. :)

    byte

Also only has 1 LNB input which limits its abilities, but as it's not your primary PVR, it should be OK.

If you are planning to use this with SKY (bbc,itv..etc...) you will only get a now/next epg... .no good for setting up recordings....

Would there be any other way to set up recording?
Also will epg be fixed when bbc release freeview?

probably a manually entered time & channel. Like VHS.

I don't think even the BBC knows. It is unlikely the BBC will use full EPG on the standard DVB type (The German/Swiss/Austrian sat stations do, and youu get full details up to about a week on most FTA receivers). It may either be a flavour of MHEG or something else. The box would need new firmware which is unlikely to be available.
