Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi there,

I've been thinging about getting the front of my hair braided at the front to hold it back out my face when I'm in hospital. Or else maybe getting it french plaitted, but would this hold for a couple of days?

    Any suggestions?

PS. I have blonde hair, shoulder length and it seems to be getting a little fine lately, not too bad though.

You dont say where you are located but any of the braiding shops on moore st will do it for you. Cost no more than 30euro, prob less if you bargain them down.

Can any of your friends do it? It is not that hard... I had a little cottage industry french plaiting hair for irish dancing feis-going girls when I was a nipper!

How long would both last? I guess I'd need to get it done a couple of days before my due date.

Cornrows would last about 3-4 weeks before starting to grow out. French plaiting wouldnt last too long, but if done properly and tight they would be ok. how long you wanting them in for?

I guess about a week or so, get them in as close as possible to my due date and hope they last till I get out of hospital.
