ChoiceCuts bring you DIG at the POD – a weekly Friday night club bringing you the very best in hip-hop, funk, soul and reggae.

€10 admission allows you access to both the Pod and Lobby Bar. We’ve a massive heated smoking area, and the crowd are an eclectic mix of students, smokers and music-lovers!

ChoiceCuts would like to welcome New York’s finest beat-diggin` DJ duo, Kon + Amir, to play a night of deep disco, funk, soul and rare gems from around the world.

Kon & Amir are regarded as two of the finest beat diggers in the world. They sell beats to the world’s biggest producers including Shady Records (Eminem), Diamond D (Diggin` In The Crates), Dr. Dre, Capitol Records, Pete Rock, and Lord Finesse.


Like legendary treasure-hunters, Kon and Amir have spent the past twenty-five years excavating record bins finding gems to pierce ears. They recently released a superb compilation LP on BBE as part of the Kings of Diggin' series (previous contributors being DJ Shadow, Keb Darge, Pete Rock, J-Dilla).


Fans and music industry peers alike admire Kon and Amir not only for their vast collection of music but also for their party rockin' abilites. Their mastery as DJ's has earned them celebrity status across Europe. During these tours, it's not uncommon for locals to bring their rare and treasured records to shows to give to Kon and Amir as a "thank you" for bringing some of the best music they've ever heard to their attention. Other locals in the European crate diggin' scene often take Kon and Amir to some of the best record shops in their areas.
