    Dear all,

On the lookout for the above. Have tried and am keeping a close eye on all the usual sites and dealers but if anyone hears of one for sale through the grapevine, I'd be very grateful. Ideally 1985-1995 lhd but open to suggestions. Would prefer to buy in Ireland for viewing and VRT reasons.

    Many thanks.

Hi Westfalia, I just purchased a LHD 1988 VW T3 Carthago Malibu, Thats basically the same as a Westfalia just that the conversion is done by Carthago instead who are pretty much the same. It's a poptop and apart from needing a few tweaks and a good clean it's in top condition. Anyway I bought it off a German Guy in Galway who imports a few from germany every year and sells them, Really nice man, very helpful and straight to deal with, When I collected mine last week he told me he was getting something similar in this week, I don't know the specs but you might be lucky! His son also sells them in Drogheda. So if you want his details PM me and I'll send them on. You should also keep your eyes peeled on the buy and sell camper website, Tonnes of campers in there but don't wait too long as the prices will start to go up the closer we get to summer!

    Good luck,

    Binhead.

Good luck with the search westfalia2, keep an eye on the club forums too - all ads don't always reach ther classifieds - another way is to post a wanted post on a forum and let the phonecalls come to you:)

    Hi Monosurf,

    Try Walter Schatzmann on 091 - 523380 or 087 - 419 6452

I bought an 86 Westy from him and it's served us well.
