Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Did anybody see it last night? It had a very interesting feature on it about the collection of stats and data at CL games using some computer program. I didn't quite catch how it exactly works but the jist of it is that it works by training a camera onto each player and then the information is fed into a computer which calculates all the stats like ball possession, positioning and in particular, the amount of ground (to the metre) covered by each player in a game.

Ronaldo covered over 10,500m in the match against Roma in OT
Essien about the same against Valencia (didn't catch which match it was though)
and Gerrard covered over 11,500m in the 3-0 win over PSV

Some amount of ground to cover considering the pace at which they play.

Yeah they sometimes show the amount of distance covered by each player during the games. It only started for the QF's. All the top clubs use Prozone now anyway. At Celtic Nakamura runs almost 13km per match and then does an hour in the gym.

Just did a quick Google on Prozone and yeah the screenshots look quite similar to the ones shown last night.

Yeah, spotted that item and the stats during the games. Interesting. I would like to get my hands on a lot more stats like these, but the Uefa website didnt seem to have them.

If anyone comes across a good source, post it here plz ....

If you like useless stats for the uefa website for all CL games you can download large PDF with with useles states for the competing teams for each game its the same one they give to comentators to make them seem smart
