Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ok Girlfriend lives in Austria, need a cheap/free method to text her from my phone.

Her Network gives her like 1000 texts a month for €20 and that covers texts to any network any country.
Do any Irish networks offer something similar or along these lines as 15c a text is killing me.

    Cheers in advance

Get an O2 prepay SIM and http://aft.donutsoft.net on your phone. Then use http://www.randomprojects.eu/multitext on your phone.

You'll get 250 texts per month at about 1c each (if you follow the instructions correctly).

And you'll get a further free 250 online from O2 which are also international.

MT and AFT use these 250 online webtexts for the 1c texting off your handset. (price is based on O2 GPRS charges)

My girlfriend is in Malaysia... The good ol' folks at Vodafone were charging a whopping 50c, so I just gave her a ready to go sim which and she carries that around and I can text her like local. Then they came up with the clever idea of reducing the price of international texts (but only on prepay not bill pay). Dunno how much they charge now.

Use O2's webtext 250 free every month - national and international,
You could even buy her a prepaid phone and send it to her so she can do the same!
