Can you give a little bit more info please , how is it connected , scart , hdmi , etc. and what is it connected too , is it Sky , or some other supplier , there are a number of things it can be , for instance with sky , go to picture setup and set the default aspect ratio to 16:9 etc .

If you tell us the details , we may be able to help !!

In Samsung TV's they have an aspect ratio setting that by default is set to auto, you are better off changing it to 16:9 along with the set top box for 16:9 in Sky, Chorus etc.

Your Samsung remote might have a p.size button which cycles through the same settings in the menu.

    Hi Folks,

Apolgies, yeah its sky connected by scart. I have changed the sky picture settings 16:9. Its hard to tell if its done the job as I'll have to see a program with credits rolling.

The samsung pisture size options are

    Auto Wide
    Wide
    Panorama
    Zoom
    4:3

Don't seem to have the 16:9 option !

    Cheers
